We are passionate about improving your feeding experience.

Meet Emily.

I live in Georgetown, KY with my husband, three beautiful children (Cora, Silas & Ruby) and our dog, Nomo. In our family time, you can usually find us on the basketball court, football field or baseball field (thank you, Silas!), at the dance studio (my beautiful dancer, Cora), at a UK sporting event, or hanging out with our wonderful family and friends! My family also loves to travel, both in and out of the country.

Our family, as well as Thrive Lactation Care, is fully supportive and welcoming of all races, color, national origins, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, and ages & disabilities.

Meet Miranda.

Hello! Originally from Cynthiana, I now reside in Scott County with my husband, our son Sam, and our two dogs, Jake and Gunner. I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2020 with a degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics. After several years of teaching math and engineering in a public school setting, I decided in 2024 to step away to be fully present for our son's early years. In my spare time, you’ll find me with my family, outside, on the lake, or curled up with a book.

Having worked directly with Emily during my own breastfeeding journey, I know firsthand what a gem of a human she is and the positive impact her work has on families. Like Emily, I’m dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all races, national origins, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, and abilities.

Our Mission.

The mission of Thrive Lactation Care is to nurture the bond and connection between caregiver and baby, support caregivers and their children through their feeding journey, empower parents with up-to-date, evidenced based education, information and treatment strategies, guide them through decision-making regarding the treatment and care of their children, and to help families not just get by, but THRIVE!

You are not alone on your journey.
